After working for 20 years in the travel and tourism industry in sales and marketing roles spanning airline and destination organisations, Peta Sullivan launched Paperplane Marketing and Communications.
Peta has forged strong relationships within the Australian media and travel industry including airlines, wholesalers, retail agency chains, NTO’s, PCO’s, tour operators and hoteliers.
She has a proven track record in achieving exceptional results through the successful implementation of integrated brand campaigns, joint marketing programs, non-traditional partnerships, visiting journalist programs, trade & consumer shows and events, as well as trade training and educationals.
Prior to founding Paperplane Marketing and Communications Peta held the role of Director, Travel and Tourism division with Hill+Knowlton Strategies Sydney. Responsibilities included Country Manager Australia for Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, overseeing and providing strategic direction on other accounts including Positively Wellington Tourism and Air New Zealand and business development. Previous to this she was employed with the Canadian Tourism Commission for 3 years as Marketing Manager and Acting Managing Director Australia.
Tammy is a degree qualified, proactive professional with 15 years’ marketing experience that spans across a broad range of industries including business-to-business conferencing, financial services, the wine industry, energy and engineering.
Tammy’s primary areas of expertise lie in product and offer management, business development, direct marketing, campaign development, budgeting, brand management, negotiation and relationship building. She has a strategic focus with a proven record of success in developing innovative sales and marketing plans that exceed business objectives and deliver growth.
Prior to accepting her position at Paperplane Marketing and Communications, Tammy has most recently worked part-time as a Marketing Consultant for engineering consultancy firm, AT&L. In her time there, she was responsible for the successful re-branding of the organisation which included the development of a new corporate logo, a new website and all supporting marketing collateral. Prior to this, Tammy worked at AGL for three years in a number of positions that included Product & Offer Manager, Channel Development Manager and Channel Manager – Call Centres.
